One of the most important trends of 2018 is video. With video you attract attention, you get better remembered and you get a lot of interaction. Now video is quite a broad concept. For example, you have videos on Youtube, in media campaigns or small videos on Instagram. Making a good video can cost a lot of money, however there are also countless possibilities with a small budget. That's what we're going to talk about in this blog. We focus on tools you can use to put your video business on the map even better.
Giphy app
At first, Giphy only had a website where you could find all kinds of poisons. Nowadays there is an app that allows you to make the gifs yourself. Gifs are hugely popular on the Internet and an accessible way to add something extra to a message. For example, it is used on social media, websites and campaigns. To use poisons for your business, it is advisable to make your own poisons. Think of moving image of your new product or a gif of a campaign poster. You're definitely attracting attention!
Livestream
A simple but effective way of video is to create a livestream. Both on Facebook and on Instagram you have the opportunity to go 'live'. This tool can be used for different purposes. For example, you can hold a webinar every month, telling people about your expertise. It is also suitable for Q&A's, a behind-the-scenes look or livestreaming events.
Splash
A still fairly unknown but interesting app is Splash. This app lets you create 360-degree videos. This is how you create a video with a Virtual Reality effect. It's best to watch the videos through VR glasses. These are becoming increasingly popular so this is definitely a tool to keep an eye on. In addition, the videos can also be viewed simply in the app and you can share them on social media.
Record screen
Are you in possession of an iPhone with iOS 11? Then you can record the screen including sound. This tool can be used well for marketing purposes. For example, by making a video of the navigation through a website, you can tell viewers where they need to be in a short time (see video below this paragraph). It is also suitable for making a roadmap. Take the steps while the movie is being made and share them with your customers or visitors.
Boomerang
I'm sure you've seen this app come along. Not, right? With this app, all those funny videos are made on Insta where girls with their skirts flutter and confetti come into their own. With Boomerang you make a short movie by means of several photos that are put in quick succession. Using the app is very easy. You only press the photo button once and your video is made. Tip: Keep your phone quiet for the best effect!
Vine
Finally, I would like to name the Vine app. This app has had great popularity and that was not for nothing. Vine lets you make short videos of six seconds. This length was deliberately chosen to allow users to use their creativity. The unique thing about the app is that the recording doesn't have to be made at once. You can process multiple shots in one Vine video. For example, you can use the app to announce an event or demonstrate a product.
Are you going to work with these tools? We like to hear what your favorite video tool is!
